Apraxia of Speech
Apraxia of speech is a motor programming disorder. Apraxia makes it difficult to program the precise, highly refined movements of the tongue, lips, jaw and palate that are necessary for intelligible speech. Apraxia is sometimes called childhood apraxia, verbal apraxia, developmental apraxia, and verbal dyspraxia.
